Crane Training Services

Crane Hire UK has helped countless organisations and individuals to obtain the necessary training and qualifications required to become a safe and efficient employee in many disciplines in the area of Lifting Operations. With the introduction of the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations ‘98’ and also the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations ‘98‘, the Crane Hire Team realised there was a real need for training in the UK. Until then there had been very little focus on how lifting operations should be planned and carried out. Even though BS7121 safe use of cranes had been around since 1989 few organisations had the skills required to plan a lift under these guidelines. From in house staff resources experienced lifting operations staff embarked on training programmes at the Construction Industry Training Board facilities to obtain instructor status in many training programmes. Coupled with our excellent training facilities Crane Hire has been able to provide a first class training service that is accredited by the CITB and also by the City & Guilds to provide NVQ assessment.
